ECHUCA NEIGHBOURHOOD HOUSE
Your Community, Your House
ABOUT OUR HOUSE
ENH is open Monday to Thursday 9am – 4:30pm, and Friday 9am – 12pm, with a range of information and resources for the community. We are open 33 hours a week, which equates 1716 hours of operation per year.
We are one of the few Learn Local organisations in the Campaspe Shire that offer a variety of pre-accredited courses.
Our programs are designed to encourage participation and leaning, in a supportive, proactive and encouraging environment.
We are now offering a variety of courses that will lead to higher education and/or employment.
At Echuca Neighbourhood House we are continually adding to our program, so be sure to check it out each term to see what’s on offer.
In 2020 our commitment is to respond to the needs of our community as they arise, and our programs and activities are continually changing to meet these needs.
Please join us and make your contribution to our endeavours to continue operating an organisation that services our community.
Echuca Neighbourhood House is extremely appreciative of the support and funding received from the Government departments, businesses and organisations listed below.
We also wish to acknowledge donations, both financially and time given by so many in our community, without which the House would not be the vibrant place it is today.
The Echuca Neighbourhood House mission is to strengthen our community by providing programs and opportunities that foster individual growth and wellbeing in an environment of belonging where each individual contribution is valued.
As a not-for-profit centre and registered charity, we run on a very tight budget and any surplus monies are used to create more opportunities for our community. We have been fortunate to have received some great support in the past.
You can donate to the House in the following ways:
Online (donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible)
Cash donation at the House (donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible)
In-kind donation (goods or services for free)
Food for our Monday Lunch
Prizes for our annual raffle
Plants, seeds or seedlings for our Community Garden and Harvest Swap
Why should you donate:
We have been supporting the local community for many years and we rely heavily on small business, corporate and local support from individuals and also governments, service providers, associations and more. It is this support that allows us to continue offering our courses, services and assistance to the Echuca-Moama community.
The act of helping others within the community can create an improved sense of well-being. By knowing that you have sacrificed your donation to assist others in need can offer a sense of satisfaction.
